What Is Hirudoid Forte?

Hirudoid contains Mucopolysaccharide polysulphate (MPS) which is similar to the body’s naturally occurring MPS found in the dermis layer of skin. The basic material for MPS – semisynthetic glycosaminoglycan is obtained from organic tissue, mammalian tracheal cartilage by depolymerization, then subsequent sulfatization.

Hirudoid Forte Cream is an anti-thrombotic and anti-inflammatory preparation for percutaneous treatment of inflammation of the veins such as superficial thrombophlebitis, varicose veins and swelling. It supports the prevention and remission of blood clots and haematomas. When applied to skin, it relieves pain, swelling and inflammation.
